What’s changed

In practical terms the LSSM training programme hasn’t really changed. We have been developing it since 1998 and it has a very well proven record of success so didn’t need any changing.

The qualification has been divided into two parts:

A professional entry Level 4 which enables therapists to start their career with a good solid base of clinical skills and knowledge, in about 8 months instead of 12.

They can then increase their clinical skills with the Level 5 upgrade which can be taken straight after the Level 4, or at a later. And as a self-employed therapist with the Level 4 qualification, the cost of the Upgrade course could be a deductible business expense also.   

This has been done to make LSSM training more accessible, and financially viable, to more people seeking a new career in modern musculoskeletal healthcare.
